Understanding and Working with Neglect

Training courses for foster carers

The Understanding and Working with Neglect training provides an insight into what is meant by the term ‘neglect’ and explores why foster carers need to have a good understanding of neglect and the associated issues.

The course provides an in-depth exploration of neglect and the impact it may have on a child’s development, both in the short- and long-term and considers what factors can make a child particularly vulnerable.
