This was an interesting course with lots of discussion and debate. The most useful things about the course were the legislation discussions, the video clips and it was lighthearted and fun at times. Ian was excellent again in his delivery of the course.
The most useful parts of the course today were the diverse , full range of learning resources used which were delivered in an interesting manner. Ian’s style of training is really interesting and engaging, thoroughly enjoyed it!

The tutor made the training very real and it was not just a course full of stats. It was pitched very well and the trainers style and content was really engaging.
I can honestly say that this is the best training I have a attended in my ten years as a foster carer! Understanding what our foster child may be experiencing is crucial. The standard of training was excellent, especially as Ian could relay his personal and professional experiences jointly, which was incredibly useful for us foster carers.

Ian pointed out potential dangers/risks within fostering, explaining how to avoid them. He was very good and clearly explained everything without to much fear factor!!.
