Ian is a fantastic trainer, he has a an amazing laid back attitude, from which he gets what he wants us to hear across and we all listened intently. Although some of the information discussed was quite difficult, at no point did I think what Ian was saying was going to put me off. In fact it made me more determined to succeed as a foster carer. I think it was a lot of hard hitting information packed into a short time. There was a lot to understand and it was very emotional at times. I like the fact Ian was able to relate his teachings back to his own personal experiences. The course has made me even more keen and passionate to foster children. It was honest and brutal at times, which was a real reality check.
